Why should I choose Moggy Minders?
Because we just love cats! Unlike many other companies you may find who offer pet sitting, we don’t offer cat sitting as an extra to dog walking/house sitting/small animal sitting. We are a specialist company who is dedicated to looking after your cat – ensuring his happiness and looking after his every whim whilst you are not there. We are a well established, trusted business operating locally to you, with most of our business coming from repeat bookings or referrals to friends and family from our existing clients. Plus, we send you a monthly newsletter - packed full of info, advice and money saving ideas, absolutely free!

Is there a minimum time you will look after my Cat?
No! Whether it’s an emergency overnight, to a 6 month world tour, we can look after your kitty as and when you need us. Obviously during popular holiday times, we get busy – so we advise you to let us know of your travel dates as soon as they are booked. We simply won’t look after more kitties than we can manage at any one time.

What do you do about keys for my house? And what about security?
Once you decide to book Moggy Minders, we will come and meet you and your kitties. This first visit is naturally free of charge. At this visit, we will take a spare key to your house. However, your name and address will never be kept with the key, and all keys are kept locked in our safe. Your security is of paramount importance to us and we will take details of any alarm systems that you have. Many clients are happy to leave a key with us, so that if they need to go away at the last minute, we are on hand to help out without any more hassle to you.
Remember, that we will also open curtains and remove post from the doormat, so that your house looks occupied. We do not use a sign written vehicle unlike other firms to draw attention to the fact you are away.

Why should I use Moggy Minders rather than my family/friends/neighbours?
We want you to be happy with whoever looks after your cat. And we want your cat to be happy. Friends and family are great – however it can be a big “ask” to get them to come round when they are busy with work/family/leisure commitments. They may be rushed, and won’t be able to spend as much time with your cat as he deserves. We will spend as long with your cats as we need to, to ensure that they are properly looked after. Looking after cats is what we do, and you can be assured that we will always do it to the upmost of our abilities.

How do I pay you? And do you need a deposit?
We ask for a 25% non refundable deposit at the time of booking. This can be paid by cash, cheque, BACS, or via credit card through Paypal (free to send payments – fully guaranteed against fraud) when we come to meet you for the first time.  The remainder of the balance should be paid prior to your holiday, either by BACS or Paypal, or alternatively you may leave us cash or a cheque in the house for us to collect on our first visit to look after Kitty.

What do I need to leave for my cat whilst I am away?
We ask you to leave whatever kitty normally eats – if he has a taste for fresh fish then please leave us enough money to cover his dietary requirements! Please leave us sufficient cat litter – however we will ensure all rubbish is removed from your house so you won’t come back to any unpleasant smells lingering in your bin!
We also need the details of your vet, and any insurance you have for your cat. We will complete all these details, including any medication your cat requires, when we come to meet your for the first time. Should there be a medical problem with your cat, we will naturally take him to your vet, and we will ask you to sign a consent form that we will retain on file. We will make every attempt to contact you should the worst happen.
 Everything else will already be there – his toys/bed/favourite flower bed/scratching post..

What insurance do you have and how do I know I can trust you?
We have public liability insurance, so that should the worst happen, you know that you are covered. We will go through these details with you when we meet, as they would take up far too much room here!
